Using Custom Made Thermal Curtains in Children's Rooms
Believe it or not but making your own blackout thermal curtains are easy. All you would need to purchase is the insulating and layers of fabrics that you would need to sew on the back of your curtains. But of course, if you do not have the funds to buy the special insulating sheet, you can be creative and use some old duvet or some aluminum foils instead. Once you have accomplished the lined curtain, you need to work out a way to attach it to the wall on the sides and the bottom edge. You can achieve this by using Velcro stripes which are very cheap and effective. You can simply sew one side to the back of the curtain and stick the other side to the wall.
Thermal curtains or room darkening cellular blinds are becoming more and more popular since they offer various functions. Today, many people are concerned with the thermal insulation especially in children's rooms. This is a very obvious fact since children tend to be more sensitive to heat and cold compared to adults. They easily get ill and you can just imagine the money spent on doctors and medications will exceed the budget or the funds needed to properly insulate children's windows and doors. Parents should never be thrifty when it comes to their health of their children and it would do them good if you make a financial effort and invest on buying good windows for your children's room. Instead, just place some other type of furniture in that area or leave it alone.
